We woke up still feeling full from the day before, but time can’t be wasted while on a food adventure.
Top Paddock served the biggest hotcake I have ever seen. It was like eating a whole cake to yourself. It was very nice, but after a while gets a bit sickening because of the amount. Simon’s soft shell crab burger was nearly amaze, only because it was a bit too salty. The cafe was a beautiful place.
I loved the space at Newmarket Hotel. The food was deece. We especially enjoyed the calamari tacos and the burger. The meat was so juicy and the bun was so soft. It came with a cute serving of patatas bravas. We also had grilled corn and soft shell crab tacos.
Miss Katie’s Crab Shack
We had the most fun at Miss Katie’s because the atmosphere was so casual. They give you a mallet to smash the crab claws. The low country crab boil was only $25 and it came with corn and chorizos. This was amaze. For some sides, we ordered some corn bread and crispy corn – both deece. The crispy corn was a new experience for me – battered and deep fried young corn topped with cheese. This photo was taken with my new camera (+fisheye).
