Australia Day: Sydney Fish Market

Seafood

My family and I love going to the Sydney Fish Market. So much choice, so much good seafood. On Australia Day, the weather was pretty crappy so we couldn’t do anything outdoorsy. So we decided to eat.

My tip for going to the fish market is to go there really early. We pretty much ate lunch at 10:30am to ensure we got a table indoors and to avoid crowds and long lines. Going for lunch early works every time. People never learn and they always arrive at around midday.

Our favourite place is Peter’s Fish Market. We love picking out fresh seafood and choosing how it will be cooked. Ginger and shallot, salt and pepper, garlic butter… so good.
